Change Unit Defaults

To Open The Change Unit Defaults Window:

1.  Using the menu of units on the right, click on the unit you wish to edit.

2.  Click on library on the main menu bar.

3.  Click on edit unit menu.

4.  Click on Change Unit Defaults.

5.  Click on yes on the message.

       Edit unit defaults can be used to make permanent changes to certain units for design purposes. For example you can set the unit defaults to automatically set drawer opening heights if this is something that is always the same for you. Setting unit defaults can be a tricky area to navigate on your own and is even more difficult to explain in a written help section because this is an "extra" advanced feature of KCDw®. As discussed in a few other topics, KCDw has certain areas that are not necessary to use for using the program 100%. These areas are used to customize certain systems if the need arises.
