DisplaySet Lines

Main Help  Table of Contents  Previous  Next

DisplaySet lines are similar to Set lines, because of this you will want to read that section first. They set a variable to a specific value. DisplaySet lines are used in the Euro/Frameless parts wizard so you can see just the comment and a box to set the variable in. If you wanted to set a variable you had created in the frameless parts wizard you would follow the instructions below to set it so you could see it in the file you set it in:

(Keep in mind that at the very top of the file you are using a DisplaySet line the words Use Grid must be there in order to see the line in the grid format)

Click on your frameless parts list and Click on Edit

Click on File then Open

Open the file named AA-User-File.prt

Click on View then As Text

Example #1:

On a blank line, type in:

DisplaySet, #YourVariableHere = Value, question or comment describing variable use here

Click on File and Save

Click on View then As Grid

Now you should see your new line

DisplaySet lines are almost exactly like Set lines- they perform the same function of setting a variable, they use commas to seperate the fields of the DisplaySet line, the big difference is you can see it in the parts wizard when you edit your parts.

mDisplaySet lines are set and used in the same manner as DisplaySet lines, but they will only be viewed if you have access to the CNC.
