KCDw has the option to create your own Moldings.
To get to the Edit Molding Screen do this:
1. Click on the Molding menu item on the Main Menu Bar
2. Click on the Edit Molding button.

| • | Drawing Screen: This is where you will do the actually editing of the molding. Here you are presented with a number of points that make up the outline of the molding. These points can be clicked on and dragged in any direction. When you click on a point, the point turns red in color. |
| • | File Name: This is the actually file name of the molding, it is strongly recommended, that you change the name of the file, before make any changes to an existing molding. |
| • | Molding Name: This is the name of the molding that would be in the molding selection list. If you wanted to have a different name listed for this molding in the pricing report (Click here for more information on Pricing). Type a comma after the name, and type in the new name you want. |
| • | Move Point: These, four buttons will move selected point in any of the four directions you click on. Remember, a point will be in Red if its selected. You may also, drag a selected point with the mouse. The first and last point, cannot be moved. |
| • | Molding Size: This is the height in inches for the molding. |
| • | Add New Point: This will add a new point above the already selected point. |
| • | Remove Point: This will remove selected point. |
| • | Face Type: Here you can choose between Solid Face, Galley Rail and Dentil. The face will be added to the selected point, if you haven't selected a point, it will not be added. |
| • | Save + Close: Here you can save and close out of the editor. |
| • | Delete: Here you can delete the current molding, be careful here, there is no un-delete, once a molding has been deleted, it can not be recalled. |
