To Find the Distance Between Two Points:
1. Click on View on the main menu bar
2. Click on Find Distance
3. Click anywhere on the screen for point #1
4. Click anywhere on the screen for point #2
5. Look in the gray box below the unit menu for the distance between the two points
The distance between two points will be displayed in the gray box. This is only useful for you to get a general idea of the distance between two points. Every monitor is different and each computer can be set to show the screen in different resolution size. This makes it difficult for a person to "click" on an exact location with a large mouse pointer that may take up many points in its size. In other words, use this feature to get a general idea for distances, use the other features like location measurement for exact distances of open space and cabinet widths.
