To Turn The Grid On:
1. Click on view on the main menu bar.
2. Click on grid
To Turn Off the Grid:
1. Click on View on the main menu bar.
2. Click on grid.
The grid will show you location distances. It shows you the X - Y coordinate system. X is a way of locating a cabinet or wall. It controls how far from left to right it is located. A zero X is in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Y is also a way of locating a cabinet or wall. It controls how far from top to bottom it is located. A zero Y is located in the upper left hand corner also. You will see this when you turn the grid on. The grid is useful when you are trying to understand how to place cabinets or a wall with X and Y coordinates.
