How do I Use The Help Section?
As you already know, clicking on help on the main menu bar will take you to this help section. Furthermore, there are buttons in certain windows such as pricing and parts that will also open the help section and take you to the appropriate area. This help section will be updated as KCDw® is updated, for example if we release a new version of KCDw® you will find an online help section such as this containing instructions on the new release material. Our technical support staff is available as well, this help section is intended to make using KCDw® easier, if you cannot find it in the help section let us know.
Using the help section is easy, when you click on help simply choose whether you would like to search for a particular topic or use our table of contents. Any line that is colored green you are able to click on to get to the appropriate topic. For example, if you see technical support underlined and in green. click on it and it will take you to the technical support page.
There are a few buttons located at the top of the help window. Clicking the Contents button will open up a window with the table of contents for the help section.
Clicking on the Index button will open a window with a listing of all the keywords in the help section. If you click on a keyword, it will pop up a box with all the help topics related to that keyword.
Clicking the Print button will print the current topic shown on the page.
Clicking on the Options button will drop down a menu of options for the help section.
The Back button will take you to the previous page. In other words if you were to click on the green words technical support it would take you to that topic, clicking back on the top of the window would take you back to this page.
Clicking on the forward arrow or backward arrow will take you to the next help topic in sequence.
Clicking on the Glossary button will take you to the Glossary section in help. Clicking on the KCDw Web Page button will automatically open your default Internet browswer and have it open our KCDw web page. Note: You must be connected to the Internet for this to work.
Clicking on the Email KCDw button will automatically open your default Email program and start a new message with our email address, kcdwinfo@kcdw.com. You can then write an email and send it to us. Note: You must be connected to the Internet in order to send email.
