Main Help  Table of Contents  Previous  Next

Your Cabinets and counter tops may be any color you wish, you are only limited to the number of colors your computer can handle.  Changing the color of your cabinets is very easy.

1. Double click on any cabinet in the job.  At the bottom of the unit screen, you will see a button labeled More, click on it.

2. You will then see a button labeled Colors, click on it and it will take you to another screen with a listing of Color Groups.  The one highlighted, should be the current Color Group for this job.  Click on the Change Color button.

3. This screen is where you can make changes to your cabinet colors.

SetColors

You will notice 3 sections to this screen.

At the top you will see a selector box, this is where you can choose what element of the job needs to be changed.  Make sure you choose the current Color Group to change otherwise your changes will have no affect.  As you scroll through this list of items you will also see places where almost every element of the job can be changed including appliances colors, door colors as well as cabinet and counter top colors.
In the middle of this screen you will see the color palette, here is where the actually color changes are made.  Each column represents a color which can be added to the current color.  The top and bottom rows will show which color is being added.  The middle rows let you add decreasing amounts of that color, allowing for more subtle shading.
The bottom of this window has a number of buttons and boxes.  You can see the current color as well as the last color.  There is also a hold color.  If you click on the hold color box, the current color will be seen in current color box.  The hold color allows you to create a color and put it aside to be referenced later.  To put the hold color, in the current color box, just click on it hold color box.  The last color box works the same, except that it will not be held, it changes every time you change the current color.
The buttons on the bottom allow you to set the current color, or save that color as a standard color.  If you only choose set color, the changes will only affect this job and not subsequent jobs.  If you click save as standard, the change will be permanent and affect all subsequent jobs.

4. To Change a cabinet, choose Group 1 Cabinet, if you are currently in Group 1, select the appropriate group color if you are not in Group 1.

5. Use the color palette to change the color and then set it or save it as standard, and click the close button.  This will bring you to the Group Scheme screen.  Click the OK button and click OK on the Unit Screen.
