Online Update

       Online Update allows users to get the latest version of KCDw through the Internet.  Note: You must have purchased the current version of KCDw through us before you are able to use Online Update.  Online Update will only provide incremental updates of KCDw, you can not purchase updates from KCDw through the Internet.

Example: You have purchased version 6.0 from us.  We then put out some minor enhancements to version 6.0 and call it version 6.01.  You can use Online Update to get that version.  Check our web page http://www.kcdw.com for information on the availability of enhancement updates.

Using Online Update:

1. Click on the Help Menu Item

2. Click on Online Update.  Note:  Use must be connected to the Internet to use Online Update, if you are not connected, you should sign on to the Internet before proceeding.

3. Click the Continue button.  The program will now search the KCDw web site for any new updates, if it finds one, it will automatically download and install it into your computer.  If you do encounter an error, double check that you are connected to the Internet.  Also it is possible due to high traffic on the Internet, the program may not be able to connect to the KCDw web site.  You might have to try again at another time.  If you continue to have trouble with Online Update, please call our technical support line.

Note:

Updates are done in stages, in other words, you won't necessarily get the latest update in one update.  You may need to do several updates to get to the latest version, KCDw will tell you if there are any more updates available.
