This item is under the file menu on the main menu bar in the design section of KCDw®. By Clicking on file then Save Job As a new window will appear. This places the Save Job As window in the middle of your screen. Save Job As is different than just Save Job.
On the left side of the Save As screen is the list of previously saved jobs. Below the words File name is a box. Enter your job name in this box. KCDw® automatically places a period and then a job after the job storage name. The only action you need to do is to click in the file name box and type in the job storage name. Click the OK button to save the job. If the job already exists it will ask you if you wish to have this copy of the kitchen as the one that will be saved. Click yes if you agree.
Save jobs is used to save new jobs or re-save old jobs. For example, you open job1.job and add more work to it. In order for this new work to be stored with job1.job you must save it again. Enter job1.job into the file name box and the additional work is saved with the job.
Pay close attention to the names you give a job. If you give two different jobs the same name, one will be erased. For Example: If you create a job then save it as Smith1.job it is saved. Now if you create a second job and save this job as Smith1.job it will overwrite (erase) the first Smith1.job, because no two jobs can share the same name.
